What is the Vitális Tank triple layer?
It consists of three polyethylene layers, each with its own function: the white inner layer has antibacterial treatment and is suitable for contact with drinking water; the dark middle layer blocks as much light as possible, protecting against algae and microorganisms; and the eco green outer layer has UV and antioxidant protection, ensuring durability even when exposed to the weather.
Why is the inner layer white?
White makes any dirt easy to spot during cleaning, with no need to scrub as with masonry or fiber cement reservoirs. The antibacterial treatment is an additive built into the raw material itself (virgin polyethylene), not a surface film: it does not wash off with cleaning or come off with minor scratches.
What is the Vitális Tank warranty?
The Vitális Tank has an 8 + 2 year warranty. It comes with an installation manual that includes the warranty terms under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
Is the Vitális Tank suitable for drinking water?
Yes. It is made of virgin polyethylene suitable for contact with water and food, and it complies with the Brazilian standard ABNT NBR 14799. The combination of the three layers provides a higher level of water protection than standard water tanks.
How are cleaning and installation done?
The 60 cm click lid gives easy access for cleaning and installation, with a secure quarter-turn closure that keeps the lid in place even in very windy locations and keeps insects and animals out. The flat faces allow flanges and fittings to be installed securely. For cleaning, use water and mild soap and avoid harsh chemicals.
